A quick note on Aruba
The good all-inclusive resorts in Aruba start at around $380 per night for your November dates, so this trip is built around Cancun instead, where you get the same beach and all-inclusive experience at a much better value. If Aruba is still calling, it is absolutely doable, just plan on that rate as the starting point.
What to Expect
Fishing Mornings & Slow Beach Afternoons
This trip is built around two things: time on the water and time doing absolutely nothing. Two days are held open for fishing charters out of the Hotel Zone, with early departures, full days on the reef, and the option to have a local restaurant cook the day's catch that evening.
The days in between stay easy. A shaded palapa on the beach, a lounger by the pool, kayaks and paddleboards included with your stay, and Maya history at the Museo Maya and San Miguelito when you want a little culture. One day is set aside for Isla Mujeres, a short ferry ride away and best explored by golf cart.
Everything is anchored by an all-inclusive resort in the Cancun Hotel Zone, so meals, drinks, and the beach are always steps away. No pressure to pack the schedule. If the fish are biting, you fish. If they are not, you nap.
